    More Information About Custom Absorbers

We have the ability to custom tailor the loading and physical configurations of our standard material for unique applications where standard absorbers will not perform the required function for a special RF test.

Advanced ElectroMagnetics Inc (AEMI)

Advanced ElectroMagnetics Inc (AEMI) engineers and manufactures a range of absorber material and continues to be the choice of systems providers. AEMI has completed hundreds of chamber projects throughout the world.

AEMI was founded in 1980 by Mr. Gabriel Sanchez and Mr. Leland Hemming, author of the industry standard Electromagnetic Anechoic Chambers: A Fundamental Design and Specification Guide. Due to AEMI’s position as an industry leader, it was acquired by ORBIT/FR in 1997.

AEMI became a Microwave Vision Company in 2008 when industry leader SATIMO purchased a controlling interest in ORBIT/FR.

AEMI provides absorbers that have been refined over 3 decades, meeting or exceeding all regulatory and functional requirements. A testament to AEMI’s product durability and reliability is the long life of AEMI’s installations: many chambers maintain their performance characteristics with no degradation 15 to 20 years after their inception.

Absorber Production

Our 16,000 square foot production plant is the most modern facility of its type in the world. Through automation, this facility is capable of unprecedented quality and quantity of RF absorbers.
